Who Are the Gemini Founders?

Gemini was co-founded by the Winklevoss brothers, Tyler and Cameron. These identical twins are not only former Olympic rowers but also seasoned investors who established Winklevoss Capital Management. They previously co-founded HarvardConnection (or ConnectU), a social networking service, and Guest of a Guest, a social media website. Notably, the Winklevoss twins were classmates of Mark Zuckerberg at Harvard and sued him in 2004, alleging that he had stolen their idea for ConnectU to create Facebook.
