What is Ethereum?
Ethereum (ETH) is a decentralized, open-source blockchain platform that fundamentally expanded the use case of blockchain technology beyond simple payments. Its core innovation is the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), a global computational engine that executes smart contracts, enabling developers to build and deploy decentralized applications.
The Transition:
