What is Bitcoin?
Bitcoin (BTC) is a revolutionary form of money and a technological innovation that introduced the concept of cryptocurrency to the world. Its primary purpose is to function as a decentralized, global payment system and an asset class independent of traditional financial institutions.
The Innovation:
Bitcoin solved the "double-spend problem" for digital currency without requiring a trusted third party.
