A major cryptocurrency whale has executed a significant portfolio rotation, shifting approximately $87 million from Bitcoin to Ethereum and staking the entire new position. The move provides fresh insight into the current divergence between the leading digital assets. On-chain analytics platform Lookonchain reported that the whale sold 1,107 BTC, valued at around $86.76 million, on Hyperliquid in the past five days. The same address then acquired 34,422 ETH, equivalent to about $86.5 million, immediately placing the full amount into staking rather than holding the Ethereum for short-term trading.
