Visa has announced a collaboration with WeFi, a fintech venture chaired by former Tether CEO Reeve Collins, to explore connecting crypto assets to its global payments network through on-chain banking and stablecoin-based payment use cases. The partnership, confirmed through a press release distributed via Chainwire, focuses initially on regulated stablecoins for everyday payments. Additional digital assets may be considered over time as the initiative matures.
