Bitmine Immersion Technologies kept its weekly Ethereum buying streak alive, adding 12,535 ETH worth about $30 million, even as a market-wide selloff battered crypto prices and the firm closed in on the end of its accumulation. The NYSE-listed company said Monday its holdings now total 6,041,481 ETH, valued at roughly $14.3 billion at a reference price of $2,365 per coin. That represents 4.9% of Ethereum’s 122.1 million token supply, leaving Bitmine, by its own count, 99% of the way to its goal of owning 5% of the network, a target it calls the “Alchemy of 5%,” reached in just 15 months.
