Taiko fully restores cross-chain bridge just 10 days after a $1.7 million hack
Ethereum layer-2 scaling network Taiko’s cross-chain bridge is back online, just 10 days after the June 22 hack. The protocol halted operations after the attack, which stemmed from a compromised SGX signing key mistakenly exposed on GitHub. The flaw enabled an attacker to forge withdrawal proofs, draining roughly $1.7 million from the bridge and ERC20 Vault contracts.
