Qubic, a layer-1 blockchain network, halted operations after an attacker reportedly exploited weak wallet seeds to steal funds from more than 1,400 accounts. In a post shared on X, the project said the attack resulted in losses of roughly $1.4 million and that it had paused the network to contain further damage.
