Sandeep Nailwal, the CEO of the Polygon Foundation, announced today that the ecosystem has completed one of its largest burns, permanently removing 100 million POL from circulation. According to the announcement, the amount represents approximately 1% of POL’s total supply. This makes it one of the most significant token burns carried out in its recent history.
