MEXC FinCEN Order: Washington Cuts the Exchange Off From US Dollar Channels
Select what genuinely interests you. Your picks feed directly into our editorial planning. The FinCEN order against MEXC hits the exchange where it is most vulnerable. On November 6, 2026, the US Treasury issued an order under which US financial institutions may no longer execute transfers from or to MEXC Global. For customers in Germany, the first point is this: your account will not be frozen as a result, and your coins will not be seized. The order does, however, affect every payment route that runs through US banks, US payment service providers or US stablecoin issuers, and it only takes effect 30 days after publication in the Federal Register. Until then, you have time to put your holdings in order without rushing.
