Lido has added direct ETH staking through its interface for users on Arbitrum, Base, Linea and Optimism, allowing them to receive wstETH without manually bridging ETH to Ethereum mainnet first. The interface availability was reported on October 15, 2026, extending a cross-chain staking flow to users of all four networks in one place.
