Japanese Logistics Giant Embraces Digital Currency for Partner Payments
Breaking new ground in corporate finance, AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings is set to employ the JPYC stablecoin for transactions with approximately 2,300 collaborators. This initiative marks one of Japan’s initial forays into substantial yen-backed stablecoin use for business operations. The new system focuses on optimizing payments, aimed chiefly at freelancers like truck drivers in logistics, by eradicating conventional bank fees and delays. This is anticipated to lead to faster and more efficient payment processing, enhancing transactional fluidity.
