CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju says the Bitcoin-to-altcoin rotation that once powered broad altseasons has “basically disappeared,” with BTC-pair altcoin trading volume collapsing to its lowest levels since 2021. Ki said the old cycle pattern, where Bitcoin rallies first and traders then rotate gains into smaller tokens, is no longer working with the same force. In his latest market post, he wrote that “the era of alts pumping just because BTC pumps may be over.”
