CoinGecko’s quarterly report shows Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins declining as exchange trading activity contracts sharply. Total crypto market capitalization fell 12.6%, or $304.8 billion, in the second quarter of 2026, closing the period at $2.1 trillion, according to CoinGecko’s 2026 Q2 Crypto Industry Report.
