In the cryptocurrency market, one of Ethereum's Layer 2 projects has put to a vote whether to leave the ETH ecosystem. The Starknet community has strongly supported exploring a transition from the Ethereum-based second-layer structure to an independent first-layer blockchain. In a seven-day preliminary vote that concluded today, over 93.5% of the votes cast were in favor of the proposal.
