Cardano has landed a big real-world use case at a time when members of its own community are debating the network’s long-term staking economics. FC Barcelona has officially launched Barça Fan Lab, a digital fan-participation platform developed with Andamio using Cardano technology. Fans will be able to participate in activities, receive verifiable digital credentials and use Cardano-based digital portfolios through their BarçaID. The initiative will also explore collectibles, blockchain loyalty systems, NFTs and smart contracts.
