Bitcoin liquidations surpass $1 billion after Wall Street selloff
Bitcoin saw liquidations totaling more than $1 billion on November 5, 2026, as a sweeping selloff across US equities spilled into crypto markets. Bitcoin’s price slid around 5%, coming close to $76,000 and reversing most of its recent post-election gains. The largest single-day liquidations for crypto in months were reported by two leading sources. The Block recorded $1.03 billion in total crypto liquidations, while TheStreet, referencing CoinGlass, reported approximately $1.06 billion liquidated across major exchanges within 24 hours. Both outlets stated that this figure does not pertain exclusively to Bitcoin.
