AFX Trade, a protocol on Arbitrum, lost roughly 24.15 million USDC on July 22 after an attacker exploited a bridge it operates. Security firm Blockaid flagged the attack at 21:30 UTC. Arbitrum's Security Council has initiated a non-emergency governance action to correct a Delegated Voting Power discrepancy in the ARB token contract, reducing the recorded total DVP by roughly 51.17 million ARB. The contract's recorded total Delegated Voting Power was around 5.459 billion ARB, about 51.17 million ARB higher than it should have been, with the discrepancy coming from initial initialization estimates.
