For most of its history, API3 has been known in crypto for one thing: moving real-world data onto blockchains without a middleman. Its newest product aims that same machinery at a customer that barely existed a year ago — the AI agents now beginning to transact on their own — and in doing so, stakes a claim on what the project calls the data layer for the agentic internet.
