Algorand Foundation U.S. Inc announced on Sept. 9 that William Herkelrath has been appointed chief executive officer of Algorand, succeeding Staci Warden, who is stepping down after nearly five years leading the layer-1 network. Herkelrath, who officially assumed the role on Aug. 31, joins as the network sharpens its focus on institutional adoption and post-quantum resilience, according to an announcement the foundation published.
