A controversial governance proposal requires a hard fork to retrieve the looted balance in two separate incidents. Two previous hacking incidents on Polygon’s Proof Of Stake (PoS) chain have looted nearly 70.50 million tokens, worth approximately $6.5 million at the current rates. A fresh hard-fork proposal from a member of the Polygon Labs Validator Support Team is looking to retrieve the sum via new amendments.
