What Happened

The Developer Portal, where outside developers set up apps that use Pi logins and payments, got a new layout. Settings such as access keys, app wallets, and domains now sit in one place, according to the announcement.

Pi’s design offers two routes to token demand. Companies pay for PiVerify in PI, and projects on Launchpad, Pi’s token-launch tool, must pool the PI they raise.

However, PI hit about $0.27 before Pi’s March 14 Pi Day release, then fell roughly 33% in a week. After the June 28 Pi2Day launches, it slid about 12% over eight days, CoinGecko data shows.

Pi has not disclosed PiVerify prices or client numbers. It has set no date for the first live Launchpad token either.

PI did hold up this week. The Pi Network price has gained about 2% since the Binance hack drained roughly $6.15 billion on October 29.

The online summit runs November 17 to 19 with app demos and a planned hackathon. Launchpad timing and PiVerify demand remain open going in.
