Binance Lists Hyperliquid (Hype) With 3 Spot Pairs Going Live Today

What Happened

Binance published the listing announcement early on September 24, a few hours before trading was set to begin. The exchange describes Hyperliquid as a high-performance blockchain built around a fully onchain financial system.

Users can deposit HYPE ahead of the launch, while withdrawals are scheduled to open at 11 a.m. UTC on September 25.

HYPE posted modest gains once the announcement went live. TradingView data for the HYPE/USD pair on Coinbase showed the token up about 1.5% within 10 minutes.

Market Context

Binance will open spot trading for Hyperliquid (HYPE) at 11 a.m. UTC on September 24, listing the token against USDT, USDC, and the Turkish lira (TRY).

Binance said it charged no listing fee for the token. Spot algorithmic orders go live alongside trading, while trading bots and spot copy trading follow within 24 hours.

Seed Tag Adds a Hurdle as HYPE Price Ticks Higher

As a result, users must pass a risk quiz every 90 days to trade HYPE on Binance Spot or Margin. The exchange also warned that HYPE is a relatively new token and is likely to experience sharp price swings.

The next checkpoint arrives at 11 a.m. UTC, when Binance order books open. Traders will then see whether HYPE holds its early gains once spot volume begins flowing through the exchange.
